Koe no Katachi

Synopsis

AnimeDao SHaring Koe no Katachi. When she was a wild child elementary school student Shouya Ishida fought boredom in the cruelest of ways. When deaf Shouko Nishimiya moves into the class of Shouko, Shouya along with the other students in the class are prone to bullying her just for entertainment. When her mother alerts the school, she is isolated and blamed for all the wrongs she has done to her. In the wake of Shouko being kicked out of his school Shouya finds himself at the mercy and whims of peers. He is ostracized in a heartbreaking way through the middle and elementary schools and teachers turn off their eyes.

In his third year at the high school system, Shouya is still plagued by the mistakes he made when he was a young man. In deep regret for his past mistakes Shouya sets off on a quest for redemption and reconciliation. He plans to see Shouko again and redress the wrongs.

Koe no Katachi is a heartwarming story of Shouya’s reconciliation with Shouko and his genuine efforts to make amends as he is constantly plagued by the ghosts from his previous life.
